I grew up in and around the Pacific Northwest where I live with my wife Lindsay and our cat Suki. We in King City, OR, which is just southwest of Portland in neighboring Washington County. When I'm not immersed in data analysis or other projects, I love to read, cook, walk, hike, run, game, listen to music, and watch shows.

Data Analyst | Bioinformatics Researcher | Transcriptomics | Epigenomics | Informatics Analysis

I earned my Ph.D. Computational Biology in 2022 from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University, in Portland, OR. I am a senior-level analyst in bioinformatics with expertise in transcriptomics, epigenomics, and informatics. I am passionate about open-access development that combines scientific rigor with innovative solutions.

Data Science and Engineering: I possess over 8 years' experience applying a complement of quantitative analysis, critical reporting, and statistical programming to deliver data science, data engineering, and data visualization for publication-quality research.

Public Service and Teaching: I have experience as a tutor and mentor (Math, English, Computation), as well as public service (volunteering, lifeguarding) and customer service in tech, IT, and research (open-access development, research collaborations, GH issues, Bioc issues).
